Harvest Festival and Halloween

This year our church held a Harvest Festival, with the annual chili cook-off! There was square dancing, hayrides and tons of fun stuff for the kiddos. Since we hadn't planned on taking Josiah trick-or-treating, we thought it would be a great place to dress him up in his first Halloween costume!

Ben's mom helped us pick out the most ADORABLE dragon outfit!
Josiah got all cute when we put it on him...it was like he knew he was dressing up.

Josiah with his friend Caden (the puppy). These two are best buds!
Caden's mom and I are apart of a mommy's play group,
and Mark and Ben are in a men's biblestudy together.
It has been fun watching these two little guys become friends.

We went on a hayride through the church's vineyard...Josiah fell asleep right before.

Our sleepy little "dragon" with his Grandma and G.G.

Halloween night, some friends called and we decided to go trick-or-treating after all!

Josiah's very 1st trick-or-treat house...with Daddy of course!

I think daddy enjoyed it!

The stash!

And no, Josiah didn't get any of the candy. Although, it was pretty funny to me that lots of people thought he was going to get it. One guy was even nice enough to give us a lollipop, because he thought it would be easier for Josiah to eat. It was sweet!
No, this year, mommy and daddy ate the spoils.

It was fun to take him out and just to see tons of kids out having fun!
