8 months!

My little punky monkey is 8 months old today!

I can't believe we are rounding the corner to one year already.

Josiah is crawling around everywhere very fast now!
He loves to explore and get into everything and I absolutely love it.

I am enjoying watching him learn about the world around him.

He has learned to clap his hands when we do "pat-a-cake"
(thanks to his G.G.'s tireless repetitions of it)
and he is pretty proud of himself when he claps and you start to say it.

He is pulling himself up on everything and walks around holding onto furniture.

He is starting to talk saying da-da-da and ba-ba-ba. And we are in the process of teaching him baby-sign language, which I think will only be a matter of time, now that he associates clapping with pat-a-cake.

He loves to go to the park and play with his friends and swing. And he has recently discovered sand!

He is such a happy baby! Ben and I feel so blessed that God brought him into our little family!
