What's that sleeping under our bed?

Tuscany Ann, our almost four year old Pekingese, has adopted a strange new habit of sleeping underneath our bed. She started this habit probably six or eight months ago. Its kind of strange. Every once in a while, we can't find her anywhere in our not-so-massive apartment and can only figure that she must have crawled under our bed to go to sleep.

We aren't sure why she has decided that this is her new napping place. The only thing I can figure is that it must be cooler and she must not be claustrophobic, because I sure couldn't sleep in such an enclosed space...creepy! She will usually crawl to the exact middle of our bed and fall asleep there, so we have to get down on our bellies to even see her. At night all you can see are her little eyes shining like a raccoon!

The other day, I walked into our bedroom to put something on my night stand, rounded the corner to my side of the bed, and this is what I saw...

Tussey was apparently so tired that she couldn't even get herself completely under the bed before collapsing!

She is such a character. Ben and I are always laughing at her personality and antics.

One of our other favorite antics of Tussey, which is uncaptureable on film, due to the ninja-like precision of our little Chinese dog, is the shredding of anything toilet-paper-like! One day we were folding laundry and putting it away. I noticed a sheet of bounce on the bedroom floor, literally looked up at Ben to say something that took a total of five seconds, went to reach for the sheet of bounce on the floor and found it had been shredded into about six pieces, with Tussey no where in sight. Not only is she lightning fast, she is utterly silent. Such skill! I am telling you, if she fell into the wrong hands...watch out world! If only she didn't snore...
