Solid Food!

Josiah had his first taste of solid food this week...rice cereal.

He seems to really like it...though the first few bites always bring about a rather unsure look on his face.

We started on Monday with really runny cereal and by today (Friday) we are making it thicker.

He gets very excited before eating...excited coughing or squealing usually precedes several bites.

Josiah also likes to talk when the spoon is in his mouth and blow "razz"-berries in the food, which results in a messy face. He's also starting to stick his fingers in his mouth, along with the cereal, to chew on.

I forsee many messy meal times!!!
