Ben and I decided to book a last minute trip to Vegas for a long weekend we had together in April. We stayed at Circus Circus...wouldn't recommend it, but it was cheap. Our reservation got mixed up, which made our first night and the next morning fairly stressful, but we ended up on the top floor of the hotel as a result (35th floor). We were only there for two days, but it was super fun!

These umbrellas had these weird light tubes suspended around them that, when the light raced down them, made it look like rain was falling periodically. Okay, you kind of had to see it in person, but it was a cool effect!
We booked seats for Phantom while we were there. We got front row balcony, which turned out to be phenominal! I highly recommend going to Vegas to see the production, even if you've seen the full opera somewhere else. It is spectacular! It was definitely the highlight of our trip, especially for Ben who had been wanting to see it for years!
